COUNTY JUBILEE.
CELEBRATION OF EVENT.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) LEVIN, this day. The jubilee of the Horowhenua County Council was celebrated on Saturday, when past and present councillors attended a special luncheon. : , The chairmen-of the Hutt, Kairanga and Manawatu counties, the Mayor of Levin, Mr. W. H. Field, and Mr. J." Linklater, M.P.'s, were present. The chairman was Mr. Monk. Mr. Field, M.P., traversed the progress of the county since its formation in ISB4. Reminiscences were exchanged and eulogies paid to those who had helped to develop the county from its irffancy.
