VISIT TO THEATRE.

In company "with , the GovernorGeneral, Lord Bledisloe, and Lady Bledisloe, the Duke of Gloucester attended the Regent Theatre last evening to witness the screening of the film "The Count of llonte Cristo." A crowd at the entrance cheered him on his arrival. The theatre was filled with a holiday audience, and on entering it His Royal Highness was given an ovation. The programme included pictures of the Duke at Rotorua and Auckland. Outside, when the part}' left the theatre, such a big crowd had gathered that there was some congestion of traffic until his car moved off. There were further cheers as the car drew away.
