A forceful innings by W. Howard was a feature of the club cricket at Morrmsville on Saturday. Batting for Nottingham against. Lockerbie Howard. • who was unbeaten, scored 00 out of his team's total of 133. hitting three sixes and six fours. Others who reached double figures were Russell (20) and Fussey (13). Lockerbie replied with 71 (Walton 14, Mallett IS, MePhenson 24). The Suburbs team from Te Aroha just missed securing an outright win over Morrinsville High School, the school's last batsman playing out time and giving Suburbs a win on the first innings. Suburbs scored 04 for four wickets declared (Budd 31, Johnston 20, Cross 17). High School were dismissed for 20, and in the second innings lost nine wickets for 20 (J. Wctcre 11).
