Mr. G. Baildon left by the Limited last night on his way to Dunedin. Mr. W. Dunningham, manager of Bellamy's, is retiring at the end of the year. Mr. and Mrs. P.H...Upton left for Wellington by the express yesterday afternoon. . Mr. M. J. Moodabe and Air. J. P. Moodabe left for Australia by the Wanganella yesterday. Mr. W. Maehin, chief aviation officer in New ] Zealand for the Vacuum Oil Co., Ltd., is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. John Farrell, Auckland manager for J. C. Williamson, Ltd., accompanied by Mrs.; Parrel!, arrived from the south to-day*. ... . ' Mr. W. Petrie, chief Government hemp grader, who is at present visiting North Auckland,: is expected to return on Monday. Surgeon-Commander Roger Buddie, 0.8.E.,' of the Royal Navy, has been appointed to H.M.S. Philomel, of the New Zealand Division. Dr. Sydney H. Nicholson, formerly organist; at Westminster Abbey, who arrives from .Rotorua this afternoon, will bather guest ,of the Rev. A. Russell Alierton until Tuesday. : . Mr. Andrew Wilson.
