TE PUKE MAN'S DEATH.
HEAD INJURED IN SEVERE FALL. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.); TAURANGA, this day. The death has occurred of Mr. James Robert Tait, a well-known resident of To Puke. Mr. Tait slipped and fell in a house'at Mount Maunganui, sustaining serious .injuries to the head which necessitated removal to hospital. He was unconscious when admitted and died last night without having gained consciousness. Mr. Tait, who was unmarried, came- to Te Puke dietrict from Dunedm many years ago. He had since "been engaged in farming and flaxmilling at Tβ Tumu and Waihi South. In recent yeara he had resided at the Mount.' Hβ served for some years as a member of "both the Te Puke and Mount Maunganui Town Boards. An inquest will be held.
