POLICE EXAMINATIONS
AUCKLAND CANDIDATES. FUTURE OFFICERS. In the annual examinations conducted in the New Zealand Police Force for those desiring promotion, Auckland candidates did -well. The examination* were held throughout the Dominion in September, and the results for the Auckland Province announced are a? follow:— Sub-Inepector'e Examination.—Passed the whole examination: Detectives J. B. Finlay and C. H. Belton. Completed: Detective P. J. Nalder. Lr«w section: Sergeant T. W. Brenchley, Detective IT. C. Murch, Constables N. S. Miiligan, H. J. Jones, G. H. Graham, F. C. Solly. Sergeant's Examination. —Passed the whole examination: Constable D. Craigie. Law section: Constable L. E. O. Wilson. Literary section: Constables E. P. Wright (Thames), C. A. Goebcl (Thames) and E. C. Broadley. These examinations are purely of a qualifying nature, and do not raean immediate promotion. Police Transfers. f
