EMINENT ORGANIST.

DR. NICHOLSON'S VISIT. AUCKLAND PROGRAMME. An eminent organist, Dr. Sydney Nicholeon, formerly organist at Westminster Abbey, who has been touring the Dominion, will arrive in Auckland from Rotorua this evening, and during his stay here will be the guest of the Rev. A. Russell Allerton. Dr. Nicholson is the founder and director of the English School of Church Music and has published a number of works on church imisic. His visit to Auckland has been arranged by the New Zealand Church of Fellowship, and a full programme has been arranged for him. To-morrow morning he will visit St. Thomas' Church, and in the afternoon he will give an address at a united service for organists and choirs at St. Mary's Cathedral. In the evening arrangements have been made for him to visit All Saints' Church. The following morning he will address a meeting of the clergy, and in the evening there will be a public meeting in the Holy Sepulchre Hall, at which Archbishop Averill will preside.
