SUSPENSION IDEA. Britain Denies Specific Proposal. MUTUAL AGREEMENT WISHED. (United P.A.-Electric Telegraph-Copyright) ( (Received 12 noon.) LONDON, November 9. Although the British Government denies specifically proposing a suspension of meat shipments from the Dominions, it is admitted that the idea arose after discussions with the Dominion representatives here. Suggestions for a mutual agreement, not proposals, were submitted to Australia subsequently.
