SOME SMART SPRINTS. KING MUSK GOES FAST. _The weather was perfect for trainiug at JiJleralie this morning and several just sprints were recorded. Trainers had the use of .No. 2 grass track and the going was hard and last. The tan, sand ami two-year-old trades were also in use. On Parade was first out, being timed to run tour, furlongs in 52 4-ss. lie was going easily at the finish ami looks well after ins race at Avondale. The Surveyor gelding looley Street got to the end of live furlongs in 1.0 1-5, taking 41 l-5s lor the last three. Wee Pat strode over a round i" • >'" 1-5, the last seven furlongs taking 1.6b o-o. ihis mare is in first-rate condition tor .the holiday meetings. Chief Emerald going easily ran five furlongs in !■■) l-o, and Barn Dance pleased better than My Money after traversing half a mile in 51 l-ss. One of the best sprints ot the morning over half a mile was registered by King Musk, who completed the distance in 49 l-ss. It was a smart effort and he was running on solidly at the Imish The stable mates, Firebrick and Air Lassie, after running their first furlong m 12 l-ss, got to the end of four Uirlongs in 50 2-ss. Therfe was little between them at the finish and' both worked well. Killadar finished in froni of 1 sychologist at the conclusion of a round, which occupied 1.45 2-5, the last six iurlongs taking 1.18 2-5.
