COMPETITION RULES.
1. Competitions in these pages, unless specially marked, arc •pen to ail young people under 18 years of age. 2. Work should bo done in ink, on one side of the paper only. Leave a margin of one inch on the left-hand side. The littlo ones may use ink pencil. 3. When more tha.i one competition is conducted competitors should use a separate sheet of paper for each competition, and at the top right-hand corner of every page writo the number of the competition. 4. All entries should bear the competitor's full name, age and address In tho top right-hano corner of each sheet of paper used. 5. Cut out and paste the signature of " Peter Pan " on to the top left-hand corner of your envelope, which should be labelled COMPETITIONS " in the bottom left-hand corner, and addressed o/o "Star" Office, Auckland. Envelopes not so marked will not be considered. 6. Unless specially stated to the contrary all competitions close on the Wednesday following publication. Late entries cannot be received. 7. Each competitor is In honour bound to send in original work. If assistance is given a signed statement to that effcct must be made. Otherwise no certificate of originality is required. 8. It is understood that Peter Pan's decision is final, and cannot enter into any correspondence on the matter.
