DELEGATES WELCOMED.

A function was held in the lounge of the Lyceum Club yesterday by the president and executive of the Auckland branch of the National Council of Women to welcome home Sliss Basten and Sliss Slelville, members of the national council, and the two Auckland women who were delegates to the PanPacific conference. The guests were welcomed in a brief speech by the president, Sirs. Hugh Kasper, and both gave interesting talks on their impressions at the conference. Among those present were Sirs. H. Kasper, Sliss S. E. Jackson, Slesdames H. Colville, E. SlcNair, A. D. Campbell, Slisses E. SL Newton, B. Carnachan, G. Hemus and Sirs. T. Bloodwortli.
