TRACK GALLOPS.
I WORK AT ELLERSLIE. MISS LULU ARRIVES. The weather was showery for training at Ellerslie this morning. No. 3 grass track was open, and after the recent rain the going was slightly holding. Kilmuir and Radnor ran three furlongs in 43 4-06. Merry Lap covered lialf a mile in 52 4-09, while Royal Appellant and Master Rex traversed five furlongs in 1.9 2-5. King Musk got to the end of six furlongs in 1.28, the last three taking 44 2-ss. Aramis, Sir A"ot> and Friar Albertus finished on terms at the end of five furlongs in 1.7 1-5. Jalldy Karo worked usefully over a round, running his last three furlongs in 445. Gay Broney, who haa slightly injured a foot, did the last six furlongs of a round in 1.30 1-5. .Neil worked strongly over about a round and a half. After Breakfast. Tonrlaleyo covered five furlongs in 1.6 2-5. Ornamental worked over a round, running the last six furlongs in 1.24 1-5. She was accompanied by Quinsabe over the final three, which occupied 425. Paukhurst and Volition did a roumr, tmt were not after time. Others to do useful tasks were Hawthorn, Barn Dance, Desert Star, Lord Val, Gay Marigold, Thespis and Free Air. Xotamint (Lacassie) was sent over four hurdles, but fell at the last.^ Miss Lulu has arrived at Ellerslie. J. M. Buchanan has Neil_, Master Rex, Royal Appellant and Sir Val engaged at the Waikato Hunt meeting on Monday, but will not make the trip.
