(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCII, this (lay. Tlie hope that Sir James Parr would bo able to accept .an extension of his term as High Commissioner for New Zealand in London was expressed by the Prime Minister, Mr. Forbes, in an interview. Sir James, ho said, was thoroughly conversant with the marketing problems engaging attention at present, and as lie knew them from the New Zealand side and had dealt with them in London during the year lie would be the best possible representative for the Dominion in the discissions now pending. The Government, Mr. Forbes said, was anxious not to have to make a change in New Zealand's representation in London until the .troublesome outstanding questions had been settled.
