LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
MAORI ADVISORY BOARD,
The advisory board to exercise control, in conjunction with the New Zealand Council, of the Waitangi Shield competition was formed at Huntly as follows:— Chairman, Mr.'G. Grey Campbell; members, Mr. E. K. Asher (Tnmaki), Rev. W. N. Panapa (Northland), Messrs. T. Kirkwood (Taranaki), Kare Martin (Waikato), G. Asher (Tuakay) aijd J. Rukutai (Hawke's Bay), the last-mentioned having been also elected secretary pro tem. The new board is to meet for tlie purpose of preparing a report to be submitted to the council in connection with next year's programme.
