(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. A series of legal actions has been avoided by the compromising spirit of members of the family of Alfred Tyer and Hannah Tyer, both deceased, of the Wairarapa district, a deed of family settlement having been placed before the Supreme Court, as being a fair and just settlement. In view of the fact that the funds and; assets of the family have been tangled beyond hope of exact elucidations/Mr. Justice Reed to-day indicated he would make an order approving of the settlement, and a draft order is to be submitted by counsel. Some £60,000 is affected by the settlement. Seven barristers and two accountants were present in Court to-day.
