MATAMATA POLO CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING. The Matamata Polo Club had a full attendance at tlie annual meeting ok Saturday. Mr. S. Banks presided, and proceedings were enthusiastic throughout. Mr. Banks said that the second annual sports meeting had again proved a success. The balance-sheet revealed a healthy state of affairs. The sports meeting 'ehowed a profit of £27 7/2, and the profit and loss account a credit of £25 5/3 on the season's working. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: Patron. Mr. G. Johnston; president. Mr. A. S. Thirlwall; vice-presidents, Messrs. S. Banks and J. Price; secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. G. Payze; honorary surgeons, Dr. Laurenson and Dr. Abernethy; selector and coach. Mr. P. Vospcr: committee. Messrs. F. Maiser. E. Johnston. F. Vosper, D. McCarthy, K. Buchanan, R. W. Burns, C. Morgan, F. Klaus, J. Landejk, J. Elliott, C Given, A. MffNicol, and F. Downie.
