(British Official Wireless.)

(Kecoivea 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, October 7. After several days of uncertainty as to the fate of tlie British freighter Ainderby, which was badly damaged during a terrific gale in the North Atlantic, the owners have received a message from the master of the vessel stating that the situation is well in hand. No assistance is required, and it is hoped to make Bristol Channel on Tuesday. The search for the Millpool, which sent out an S.O.S. at the same time, has been abandoned. It is presumed that the vessel, with her crew of 20, was lost in the same gale which crippled the Ainderby.
