DRAMA LEAGUE.
NATIONAL HONOURS ROLL.
EXECUTIVE ELECTED.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TIMARU, Sunday. At a meeting of the national council of the New Zealand branch of the British Drama League held at Timaru yesterday highly complimentary rclerence was made to the success of the national final, which resulted in a substantial profit. The national executive was elected as follows: —Chairman, Miss A. Kane; joint secretaries, Misses E. Blake and E. Wemyss; librarians, Misses Ailsa Newton and Betty Page; lion, treasurer, Mr. S. Natusch; Mrs. E. Maslen, Messrs. W. M. Pago and H. Farquhar. The national headquarters are to be in Wellington. It was decided to provide a national scroll of honour at headquarters on which to inscribe the names of the winners of each national final. The acceptance of cups for the national finals was strongly opposed. A suggestion that a North Island v. South Island final be held in preference to the national final was rejected. An invitation from Hawke's Bay to hold the next national final was referred to the executive.
