FOUND HANGED.
| SINGLE WOMAN'S DEATH. When her sister and brother-in-law arrived home from football on Saturday afternoon Miss Eliza Mary Morland, aged 39, of 15, Edgars Road, Grey Lynn, was found dead, hanging by a rope, which was attached to°a beam in the passage. She lived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Prentice. Evidence was given at the inquest, which was conducted by Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., that deceased had been despondent for some time and had complained of pains in the head. A verdict of suicide was returned.
