MODEL AEROPLANES.
KESTREL CLUB EVENTS. The weather conditions were ideal for flying when the Kestrel Model Aero Club held its weekly meet at the Domain over the week-end. Several outstanding flights were recorded. A. Weaver's fuselage model K. 46 disappeared and was finally lost in the direction of the Auckland Grammar School, with the time of 3 minutes 3 seconds. Another outstanding performer was M. Wrennal, whose plane flew consistently. On one occasion it landed in Khyber Pass, the time for the flight being 2.395, out of sight. This large machine made a fine sight in the air on account of its large size. Two club records were broken, one bv H. Parker, with a scale model Cessna rise off the ground, and the other by E. Stable's, with a twin pusher. There was a large' attendance of spectators and the contests were keen. Results Novices, H.L.—M.' Wrennal;' 1775, 1; S. Bellini, 1455, 2.: G. Bourke, 60s, 3.
