AT TOWN HALL TO-NIGHT,
Sonnenberg, ex-world champion wrestler, who gave such a thrilling display last week in a match with Defcton, will appear at the Town Hall again to-night, his opponent being Harry Mamos, the Greek that so many of the champions have found hard to put down. It should be a great match. The referee for the occasion will be Charlie Pollard. SONNENBERG ALL THE WAY. (By Telegraph.—rrcss Association.) DUNEDIN, Sunday. Gus Sonnenberg beat Ali Bey in the Town Hall last night by two falls to one. Sonnenberg had the bout in hand all the time, and Bey's fall was gained as the result of a misunderstanding on the part of the referee. In the second round' Bey had Sonnenberg tied up with a toehold, and the lastnamed trickeU Bay into releasing him by slapping the Turk on the back as though the referee had awarded him a fall. When the Turk broke his hold, Sonnenberg sprang up ready to continue, but the referee gave Bey a fall. Sonnenberg's two falls came as the result of flying tackles, one being gained in the fifth round and the other in the sixth. LURICH LEAVES IT LATE. SYDNEY, September 23. In a wrestling bout at the Leichardi Stadium last evening, Lurich. defeated Saveloff by one fall seciircd in the last round. Wong defeated Felice, who was nof able to continue after his opponent liac' secured a fall following a series of flyinf tackles.
