MASONIC DANCE.
NORTHCOTE ANNUAL FUNCTION. The Jlasonic Hall at Northcote was tho scene of a most successful and enjoyable gathering on Saturday evening, on the occasion of the annual "ladies' night" of Lodge Onewa, No. IS'2, of the NewZealand Constitution of Freemasons. Several sister lodges were represented, and the Grand Lodge by Jlr. 11. G. McCrea.
The guests were welcomed by the Worshipful Jlaster, Mr. Arthur F. C'adness, assisted by the hostess, Mrs. H. Cadness, sen., wearing a frock of midnight blue georgette. Mr. Gordon Stewart was the JI.C. The musical programme included songs . by Jliss Eva Berry, Jlessrs. Charles Hunter and Albert Borrows; violin solos by Jliss Pauline Jlunro; and whistling solos by Mr. C. C. Purdy. The accompaniments were played by Jlr. Peter Black. At supper, the toast of "The Ladies" was proposed by Jlr. A. F. Cadness, to which Mr. W. J. Parlour responded.
