POWER BOARD DANCE.
To raise funds for a tennis court which is being made at the back of Lake Pupuko, a dance was held by the social club of the Waitemata Power Board in the Parish Hall at Takapuna on Saturday evening. An exhibition of tap dancing was given during the evening by Jlajor A. Wi.kie.
The ladies' committee comprised: — JTrs. B. line, who wore a frock of black panne velvet; Jlrs. G. Edmonds, black lace and tulle; and Jlrs. A. Harper, apricot georgette.
