AUCKLAND ORPHANS' CLUB

The final gathering of the 43rd session of the Auckland Orphans' Club was held in the Scots Hall on Saturday evening. Members of the executive of the Auckland Savage Club were entertained, Mr. A. C. Taine, past rangatira, replying to the welcome. The president, Mr. V. R. Meredith, presided, and conveyed the appreciation of members to the orchestra, under Mr. Harold Baxter, and to the various artists who had contributed to the programme throughout the session.
