CONFERENCE AT ROTORDA, IBy Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) ROTORUA, this clay. Rotarians from Auckland, Waikato and East Coast to the number of 100 held a forum at the Geyser Hotel during the week-end. At the closing session Mr. J. Treloar, of Hamilton, gave an address oil "The Modern Youth." A singing contest was won by the Auckland group under the leadership of Mr. F. N. Ambler. On Saturday an 18-hole golf match for the Proud Cup was played on the Arikikapakapa links. A keenly-con-tcsted play-off between E. T. Harold, of Auckland, and H. Anderson, of Napier, resulted in the latter winning. Harold was 4 up at the ninth, but failed on the homeward journey. The Proud Cup and prizes won in other sports contests were presented at the evening gathering.
