PROGRESSIVE CLUB.
There was a good attendance of; members and guests at the meeting of the Women's- Progressive Club, Y».W.C.A. when a social was given in hon/jur of Mrs. Poolcy, who is leaving ne j:fc week for Melbourne. Mrs. Sullivan -presided and extended a hearty welcon tfi to all present. Mrs. Pooley was pmminted hy the president with a beautiful bouquet from the club, also one ftom Jlrs. Atford, a club member. 51(513. Donne presented Mrs. Pooley with ay poem she had composed in her hon.MJr. Mrs. Pooley, in thanking the r for all the kindess shown to I'fer, said she would carry away happy ir inmorica, and hoped to be back with tl fern early in the New Yeai\ A prograr jtroe of musical and elocutionary iter,|s was given by Mrs. Jackson and ; Miss Aroha Heron. Mrs. Story supplied dance music. Supper was serv(«L by the committee.
