STATE FUNERAL.
TRIBUTE TO SIR E. DAVID. (Ecceived 1 p.m.) SYDNEY, this dav. A State funeral was accorded Sir Edgeworth David to-day. A service was conducted in St. Andrew's Cathedral, where the body had been lying in state this morning. The cortege, including military units and University representatives in full academic dress then proceeded to the crematorium. Mr. F. H. Stewart, Minister of Commerce, represented the Federal Government, Mr. B. S. Stevens, Premier, and other Ministers represented the State Government, and representatives of the GovernorGeneral and the State Governor also attended.
