CONTRACT FOR EXTENSIONS

HASTINGS, this day.
The tender of H. Abbott at fl 1,897 for extensions to the Hastings Memorial Hospital, the conversion of which from a maternity hospital to a general hospital was recently sanctioned by the Minister of Health, has been accepted by the Hospital Board subject to the Minister's approval. If the Ministerial approval is obtained ithe work will begin within the next ten days.
