TOURNEY IN FRANCE. CRAWFORD DEFEATS McGRATH. (Received 10 a.m.) t PARIS, August 27. Finals of the Houlgate lawn tennis tournament resulted:— Men's Singles.— J. H. Crawford beat Vivian McGrath. 7—5, 6—4, 6—l. Combined Doubles. —Crawford and Mrs. Crawford beat Renault and Mme. MorclDelville, 7-5, 8-6. Crawford started badly againet McGrath, w,hose good volleys kept the Australian champion at the back of the court. Crawford, however, soon found his true form and eventually won easily.
