LOST GOLF BALLS.
PUPUKB CLUB'S ACTIOW.
For sortie time past members of the Pupuke Golf Club have been troubled bv bova and other persons who make a practice of frequenting the links for the sole 'purpose of .hunting-for balls that have been lost by players. If all balls found were handed m at the clubhouse the boys would doubtless be welcomed on the links, but m most cases fhov ire taken awav and sold. 1 Z the request of'the golf club, the Waitemata County Council, sitting as the Takapuna Domain Board, from whom the Pupuke property is leased, this morning approved a by-law which is calculated to put an end to the nuance Under tie new rule all balls found on the Domain will be regarded as the property of the club.
