COMMUNITY SUNSHINE.

The monthly meeting of the la^'® s auxiliary of the Sunshine Association was held in Sunshine House Nelson Street, on Thursday last, when Mrs. J. B. Macfarlane, 0.8. E., occupied the chair. The annual meeting will be held at the end of July. A welcome was extended to Mrs. Starkey, a new member. Mrs. F. J. Hutchinson read a very lengthy report on the Chil't Welfare Act. For the stall at_ the Winter Show members handed in a wonderful selection of useful articles. The assistant teacher at Sunshine School, having resigned, was. the guest of honour at the meeting, when Mrs. Macfarlane took the opportunity, on behalf of the members, of making a email presentation, which Miss Ernest suitably acknowledged
