The monthly meeting of the Papatoetoe branch of the Mothers' Union was held 011 Thursday afternoon, in the St. George's Church. The Rev. H. H. Bedford conducted the devotional _ service, after which an address was given by Miss G. Baker, who outlined the story of the establishment of the early Church. An enjoyable tea, arranged by Mrs. F. Burnside, Mrs, E. Harrison, and Miss Page, closed a pleasant meeting.
