"The Case is a very unfortunate one for the Widow ,, This was the comment of the learned Judge in a recent Will case wh&re a widow had been obliged to appeal to the Court for interpretation of her husband's Will. Testator in his Will directed his Trustees to pay a fixed annuity to his widow during her lifetime payable out of income. But the estate had shown a deficiency, or earned no income, for some years. Had the testator re-read and revised his Will in later years, provision would no doubt have been made for payment of the annuity out of capital in the event of the estate earning no income. <SL Hundreds of similar Wills made in more prosperous times need re-reading and revising NOW if dependents are to be fully provided for.
