WORK OF MISSIONS.
REVIEW BY DR. NORWOOD. Testimony to the wonderful work done by the missionaries of the London Missionary Society in the countries which he had visited was paid by Dr. F. W. Norwood in an address given in the JBeresford Street Congregational Church last evening, i-.nder thj auspices of the Auckland auxiliary of the London body. A packed audience was presided over by Sir George Fowlds, who, with the ReV. G. Heighway, conducted a short service. Dr. Norwood reviewed conditions as he had found them in India, Africa, China and Japan. He also paid a tribute to the work organised in Japan by Toyohiko Kagawa and his followers, and said the dynamic force of the man had been the nieans of effecting what was practically a Christian revolution in that country. - >
