TRAVEL CLUB.

The ladies' committee of the Auckland Travel Clilb entertained visitors at morning tea on Friday. Mr. Albert Spencer, president of the Auckland Provincial Employers' Association, gave a, talk on Australia's plan for national recovery, and a description of the Geneva Conference, which he attended as a delegate from New Zealand in 1931. Mrs. Victor Macky introduced the speaker, and welcomed Lady Allard, of Australia, who was a guest of honour. Lady Allard was presented with a bouquet of spring flowers. Other guests were: Mrs. Woods (London), Mrs. Jerram (Malay States),. Mr. T. Clarke and Miss Clarke (Australia), Signor Le Guidice, and also Mrs. Gamble and Mrs. Dawson, of Dnneedin, who are leaving by the Aorangi on Tuesday to take part in the golf tournament at' Honolulu.
