WHITE BUTTERFLY.

GLASSHOUSE TOR CULTURE. The Otahuhu Borough Council decided last evening to donate £0 to the Otahuhu Technical High School to assist in building a glasshouse l'or the culture of the white butterfly parasite. Mr. I<\ W. Grey said the efforts of the school in this direction warranted the whole-hearted support of the community. Otahuhu would benefit only in a small way, but the assistance to the county would be excellent. He congrtaulated the boys on their keenness in giving up their vacation to study the subject.

The Mayor, in supporting the grant, said there was 110 doubt the school was 011 the light track and deserved every encouragement.
