DETTON V. WALKER. The professional wrestling bout at the Town Hall on Monday evening will be one between Ucan Dctton and George Walker, who provided exciting matches two years ago. The amateur preliminaries will be between Auckland and Whangarei representatives for the Eose Bowl, and they should be well worth, watching, 011 account of the keen rivalry existing between the two associations. Following is the amateur programme:— K. Hollows (Whangarei), 12.4, v. R. Douglas (Bayview); B. Hollows (Whangarei), 11.0, v. H. Johnson (Leys); F. Hollows (Whangarei), 9.13, v. K. Brewer (Otahuhu); W. Norwood _ (Whangarei), 8.10, v. C. Wilson (Bayview).
i SHIKINA LOSES AGAIN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HAWERA, this clay. After seven rounds of hard wrestling here last night, Dean Detton defeated Old Slnkina in the last round with an aeroplane spin and dump for the only fall of the match. The verdict was received with much booing, the crowd not accepting the incident as a fall. WONG DEFEATS SANTEN. (By Telegraps—Press Association.) OAMARU, this day. In a professional wrestling match here last night Wong Buck Cheung (15.0) defeated Charlie Santen (15.6) by two falls to one- Santen gained the first fall in the fourth round from a flying scissors, lowed by a barred toe hold. Wong gained a fall lti the sixth round froni a King Foo stopper. The deciding fall resulted from a forward body press.
