Cruui Ewing) 1 HIGHLANDER, ch g, 4yrs, by Corouach —Scapa Flow (Lord Derby) 2 YOUNG NATIVE, br b, Oyrs, by Junior —Mollusca (Mr. A. li. A. Heath) .. 3 Twenty-live started. Length and a halt; three lengths.
COLOMBO AGAIN BEATEN. On tlie previous day rain storms, which occured in many parts of tlie country, in some places for the fust time for more than a month, avoided Ascot. The King and Queen remained until after the last race, which provided a sensation when Colombo, the Derby favourite, was defeated by Lord Rosebery's Flamenco.
