TAURANGA NOTES.
Mr. ancl Mrs. Pierce, of Feilding, are visitors to Tauranga. Hamilton visitors are Mr. and Mrs. Rosie. Miss Fraser, of Auckland, is staying at the Commercial Hotel. . Mr. and Mrs. Hargreaves, of Wellington, are spending a few days here. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Gifford left for Wellington onMonday and will be away for several months. Mr. and Mrs. P. T. Kean, accompanied by their two. daughters, have left on a motor tour, which will include visits to Taranaki and Manawatn. At the conclusi6n of .the annual meeting of the Plunket Society on Tuesday afternoon, Mr. and -Mrs. W. -S. Harris entertained those present at afternoon tea, making a very happy conclusion to the afternoon's business. After tea was over, Mr. Bobbins thanked Mr. and Mrs. Harris for their generosity, referring to Mrs. Harris' long service as secretary to the Plunket Society. Among those present were: Mesdamcs B. P. Andrews, L. E. Woods, J. F. Russell Wallace, A. G. Newsham, M. Glacken, T. H. Hall, B; G. Robbins, Connor, Cramer Roberts and C. Ilecne.
