KENTISH ASSOCIATION.

The monthly meeting of the Association of Men of Kent and Kentish Men was lield in the Fabian rooms this week. Owing to the very wet weather the attendance was not gs large as usual, there being about 70 members present. A concert programme arranged by Mrs. Webster was greatly enjoyed. Solos were given by Mrs. G. Grant, Mrs. C. Gray, Mr. A. H. Turner, and Mr. W. Robbins; elocutionary items by Miss Mary Cruickshank, and.a duet by Messrs. Robbins and Turner. The. accompanists wore Mesdames Sholto Smith and Robbins. Competitions, were won by Miss Cruickshank and Mr. E. Crotliali.

Among the guests were Mr. J. W. Bissett, J.P., president of St. Andrew's Society, and Mrs. Bissett. A short but very instructive address was given byMr. Bissett. Supper was served, followed by a short programme of dancing.
