THAMES GIRLS' CLUB.

At the monthly reunion of the Thames Girls' Club, incorporated, the president, Mrs. Hubber, received the guests. Mrs. T. Aitken, vice-president, was also present, and other committee members were: Mesdames Stubbing (convener), W. S. Miller (secretary) and J. Aitken (treasurer), Mclntyre, Boswell, Thorburn, McPherson, Andrews, Wright, McGeelian, Davison, Taylor and . Miss Rowling. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Burnett entertained with duologues, and recitations and songs were sung by Mrs. L. Kinnear, with Mr. Kinnear at the piano. Competitions were won by Mrs. Kinnear, Mr. Burnett and Mr. Hubber. Miss Marion MacLeod, a member, was congratulated by the president on having received at the hands of Lord Bledisloe a medal the insignia of serving sister to the order of St. John.
