THE MONTH'S ACTIVITIES.

Tho Auckland Hospital Auxiliary met yesterday afternoon, the president, Mrs. E. A. Ividd, presiding. Reports from the Onehunga and ' Mount Eden branches were given, and from the sewing circle and the depot. Mrs. T. i. G. Ncill reported that there had been a wonderful response to the request for earphones for the patients in the T.B. shelters, every patient now being supplied with a pair. Mrs. R. C. H. Hooten, Mount Eden, reported the visiting of numerous families, distribution of literature in the wards, and help to needy homes. Mrs. Carr-Smitli, for the Auckland sewing circle, reported that 21 parcels were I received for the month, and 341 garments sent to the depot. Reports from the depot show that six patients during the month were taken to their homes; orders for food were given to 23 ex-patients, 67 families were helped with clothing, and two pairs of boots were bought.
