FRANCE HONOURS N.Z. , PRIMATE. By a decree of April. 23, 1934, and on the proposal of M. H. E, Barthou, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the President of the French Republic has been pleased to confer thfe Cross of Commander of the Legion of Honour on His Grace Dr. Redwood, Catholic Archbishop of Wellington and Primate of New Zealand.
