' Representing a "saving to' ratepayers of about- £.!)00, the rates struck by the Dargaville Borough Council for the current year embody a reduction of a penny in the pound on the unimproved value. This is effected in the consolidated rate, which will be 1/4, compared with 1/5 last The'rates'to be struck are as follows: Consolidated rate, 1/4 in the pound; consumers' water rate, 5Jd in tlie poundnbn-eonsumCrs' rate, |d in the'pound. ■
