DOMINION COUNCIL. / OFFICERS ELECTED FOR 1D34-5. Advices from Dunedin state that the election for the New Zealand Bowling Council for the 1934-35 season resulted:— President: Mr. Raymond Sheath (Auckland). Vice-president: Mr. F. J. Good (Christchurch). Past-president: Mr. R. Rowley (Dunedin). Treasurer: Mr. A. H. Yeoman (Auckland). Concillors: Messrs. Jas. Pascoe and F. A. Hosking (Auckland), E. Dingle (Taranaki), G. S. Dawson (Wanganui), H. Mayo (Hawke's Bay), J. Kershaw and S. M. Stone (Wellington), W. A. Dell (Nelson), L. B. Evans and H. B. Oakey (Christchurch), L. B. Hawkey (South Canterbury), W. Connor and E. F. G. Falconer (Dunedin), J. H. Loudon (Southland).
HILLSBORO' CLUB.
The ninth annual meeting of the Hlllsboro' Bowling Club was held in the club pavilion on Monday, with the president, Mr. Scarborough, in the chair. The treasurer presented his annual balance, which showed the club's finances to be In a satisfactory condition considering the unsettled times prevailing. After a full discussion it was dechled that the club refrain from entering for the pennants this coming season, inter-club games to be arranged for instead. Opening day wns fixed for October 20. Trophies were presented to G. Sainty, club champion, and to Sainty and Crawshad, champion pairs. Mr. S. Wombwell was elected president, and Mr. G. Sainty secretary.
