WATER IN LOW-LYING AREAS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PAEROA, this day. Heavy rain squalls commenced in Paeroa last evening, and continued throughout the night. To-day rain is still falling heavily while the wind is of gale force. During the night a tree outside the Public Work's Department's office was uprooted by the wind. Water is collecting in low-lying paddocks.
