PUKEKOHE'S STEADY FALL.
MANGATAWHIRI STREAM HIGH. (By Tclcgrapli.—Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, this day. Heavy rain commenced about 6.30 last evening in the Pukekohe district and has continued practically without ceasing. No damage has been reported, but the Mangatawhirl stream is rising rapidly, and if rain continues much longer severe flooding will doubtless occur in that area.
