Wool Worker Contracts Anthrax In Sydney. NEW REGULATIONS PROPOSED. (Received 10.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. About 14 days ago, while handling wool at Botany scouring works, Walter Cffoper, 24, scratched his left arm. A small eruption appeared some hours later and Cooper became ill and slightly delirious. The eruption had become an ulcer, and Cooper had contracted anthrax. He is now in hospital recovering after injections of antianthrax scrum.

The Minister of Health, Mr. Weaver, is having regulations framed to lessen the daaigers to workers among articles which may cause anthrax or tetanus.
