"TRADE WITH THE EAST."
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ACTION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The executive of the Associated Chambers of Commerce has set up a "trade with the East" sub-committee to secure all information possible concerning the possibilities of New Zealand trading with Eastern countries. The sub-com-mittce has power to add to its numbers from outside the executive, if necessary, in order that all available resources may be utilised. The Chamber of Commerce in China is being communicated with on the subject.
