MONOWAI'S TRIP.
PASSENGERS FROM SYDNEY. PERSONALITIE R TR A YELLING. The Union Company's liner Monowai arrived from Sydney at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon with 97 passengers and a quantity of mail. The vessel had an uneventful voyage across the Tasman in good weather. Dr. R. Cash 111 ore, of Hastings, returned from a holiday visit to Australia, including Tasmania. Mr. S. E. Neilson, secretary of the New Zealand Aero Club, returned from a business trip to the Commonwealth, during which he -made a study of Australia's attitude to air services.
Major George D. Ross, passenger manager for the Union Steam Ship Co., Sydney, arrived on a visit to New Zealand.
Mr. C. Marks, jrcneral manager for United Artists Film Corporation, is making a short visit. He returns to Sydney by the Monterey 011 Friday.
